Machining Technology, Inc. was founded in 1986 by Bob Merkel to provide parts to aerospace customers in the Puget Sound area. Soon thereafter, Bob purchased his first mill and began working with industrial and aerospace manufacturers to machine their parts.

Today, we serve a variety of leading manufacturers in the Puget Sound who rely on us to provide the highest-quality parts in a timely manner. Our manufacturing capabilities consist of both proto-type and large quantity production turning and milling. Our precise "computerized numerical control" based machining capability allows us a high degree of accuracy. We also specialize in machining a wide variety of raw materials ranging from plastics, aluminum, bronze, steels, and exotic metals such as titanium and Inconel.

We operate on a 24,000sqft campus in the heart of Auburn Valley. Our QMS is certified AS9100D(2016) based on ISO 9001:2015 and maintain strict quality control.
